Sherrie Fell, born in Queens, N.Y., earned her BFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
A Final Cut Pro-based editor with well-entrenched skills at putting music to video, Sherrie created many mini-docs, used as promotional tools for artists such as LOURDS, Chaka Khan and The Demolition String Band.
Sherrie began shooting her own footage in order to document and deconstruct. She is currently in pre-production on a couple of different projects taking on various roles.
In addition, Fell launched Breaking Records in 2006 with Bernadette O'Reilly. As Vice President, she is charged with branding and marketing the new Manhattan-based label. Breaking Records released the live recording of the Off-Broadway show of Sandra Bernhard's "Everything Bad & Beautiful" in 2006. She has also hosted radio shows “Funny, Isn’t it?” and “Inside Music.”. and also wrote and produced these programs for WPS1 art radio, part of the MoMA, which broadcasts from the historic Clocktower building in New York.
Also a practiced comedienne she has performed at many of the Northeast region’s premiere comedy clubs, including Carolines, Gotham Comedy Club and Boston Comedy club.
